Catching crabs off the docks

Early in the Spring the missionaries taught us how to catch crabs off the docks. It was really cool cause it was so easy. We caught lots and lots of them.

Elder Johansen teaching Sam how to measure the crab to make sure that we could keep him.

Hot Feets

Jaden was in her elementary school's jump roping club called "Hot Feets". My memory is failing me....I can't remember why I wasn't available to get her ready. I can only remember that I was meeting Ron and Jaden at the High School and I was SO relieved when I saw that he had done pony tails for her hair. I was totally expecting to show up and see her looking like a rag muffin. At the end of their season they have a performance.
I have not blogged for several months now. I got too busy and too lazy and I quit taking pictures. In February I got an iphone. So now I have some pictures on my phone. I just recently transferred the pictures from my phone to my computer. That's the reason for the recent posts. I have many more to come.

Ah, I just remembered where I was. We had an overnight Young Women's leadership retreat with the class presidencies at Cedars Lodge. I couldn't make it home in time to get her ready for her performance:) not senile yet I guess.

Love this Caboose

The other night as we were getting ready for bed Sam said,
"Dad, did you know I love you as much as I love Mom? and I love her bigger than this whole world."
Sam is so much fun for me. He has been a great kid so far. He and I totally enjoy our days and time spent together. He loves his giraffe named Jafaru. The other day he wanted to take it with us to the store. He was so cute to seat belt Jafaru next to him.

Kayhi Lady Kings Soccer 2011

Jayley had her first home games this past Monday and Tuesday. It was so fun to go watch her. We had perfect weather too. She is proving to continue to be an amazing athlete. She plays both JV and Varsity. We played JDHS (Juneau). JDHS has beat Kayhi by 10 or more since 2004. We are proud to say that they only won by 2. It was 2-0 both nights. Juneau is so used to coming down and creaming Kayhi. Their coach and athletic director both complemented the team this year. They said it's the best Kayhi has had in a decade. The next 3 years are going to be so much fun to watch with Jayley and Brooke.

Brooke and Jayley-the two freshman stars!!
She is just so cute and fun. I will never get tired of her smile.
